About Counselling

What is Counselling?

Counselling is a way of exploring your personal situations and issues with a professional who is empathic, impartial and non-judgmental.

While counselling does not provide 'magical answers' or direct advice, it will help you to explore yourself and find resolution.

Counsellors respect and promote your ability to make decisions in the light of your own beliefs, values and context.

Counselling is ultimately an early intervention method of working through issues BEFORE they can become too big or heaven forbid ‘organic’, where your body / health in some way suffers.

Getting help sooner rather than later with a professional counsellor / therapist is always the most helpful.  You will have opportunity to work through issues before they become more of an impact on and in your life.

Counselling helps you to work through issues free of diagnosis and prescriptions.

Counselling can help you to:

Help restore the balance holistically through the mind, body, heart and soul
Help to find the answers within - empowering
Deal with difficult family situations
Apply effective parenting techniques
Help to improve relationships
Work towards solutions to life's challenges
Find better ways to cope with life
Handle stress / anxiety and conflict in a healthier manner
Assist in breaking problem patterns of behaviour
Help with career planning and transition
           And much more...

Professional Counsellors are there to help you.

Even if it is a chat once a month, I know you will feel the benefits to yourself and your life in talking things out rather than letting them ‘fester’. Leaving issues unresolved for too long often results in health decline, so a lesser feeling in the joy of life and ultimately a longer journey in working through things.

Think about it!! :o)
